Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?

Do you also believe that it can have a negative, life changing effect on people?

How would you explain its ability to change lives or have any impact on people?Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?Music, more so than art can have a powerful influence on people. Its not so much the music portion of a song that effects people but more so the lyrics, words have power and when put in the form of a song poetically arranged accompanied with beautiful music a song can capture imaginations, stimulate desires, and motivate listeners in all walks of life and even soothe the salvage beast, like nothing else can. Oh yes, if the lyrics are negetive it can also have powerful negietive effects on all of the above mentioned.Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?It can be both. The Devil has always had the best tunes; this has been known for centuries. Along with literature, theatre, and art, the Christian church has always regarded music with great suspicion, when it wasn't completely under their strict and oppressive control.

Satan is master of the violin and flute. 18th century Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini was inspired when Satan appeared to him in a dream. He heard Satan playing the violin. He said it was the most beautiful music he had ever heard. It was %26quot;indescribably beautiful.%26quot; He immediately awoke and tried to write it down to copy it, but it never turned out the same way. He did the best he could to duplicate it. He published it and named it %26quot;The Devil's Trill.%26quot;

19th century violinist Niccolo Paganini came under intense suspicion of %26quot;collaborating with the Devil.%26quot; In other words, no one could write or play anything so beautiful without help from Satan. Here the Christian church indirectly admits that the beauty of Satan outshines what they worship.

Modest Mussorgsky composed %26quot;A Night On Bald Mountain.%26quot; The music portrayed a witches?sabbat. In the original piece, Satan reigned triumphant at the climax, but this was too much for Mussorgsky's Christian contemporaries. Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov revised it, ending the piece with the ringing of a church bell.

Satan also inspired Carl Orff in his dreams when he wrote %26quot;Carmina Burana.%26quot; This music is best known from the soundtrack of the movie, %26quot;The Omen.%26quot; Orff told his wife that he saw Demons many times in his dreams when he composed the music.

Jazz is synonymous with Satan. The rhythmic beat, the dances the music inspires, and of course, it opened the door to rock and roll.

Music has always been a great friend to humanity. Music is a tension reliever, as it relaxes the left (logical) side of the brain so that the creative right side can manifest itself in new ideas and solutions to things, in the same way meditation helps us. Satan can speak to us through the music. Music makes any activities more pleasant. Work becomes easier, a fast beat can get one going, a soothing beat can calm one's mood, and sexual intercourse to music can be blissful.

William Blake once stated that all true poetry was the %26quot;work of the Devil.%26quot; Satan inspires creativity. He works to bring out creativity in all of his disciples. With Satan, we learn and grow as individuals. Each one of us is unique.

The enemy wants everyone to be clones, drones and drabs. Take a look at the women under the Taliban, the Quakers, the Amish and the Hasidic jews with their strict rules on how to dress. There is no room for any personal creativity whatsoever. These religions desecrate and kill the human spirit, while they enslave the soul. Satan stands for freedom and individuality.Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?yes I do.

Different arts and music have different psychological effects on people and therefore make them perceive things differently which ultimately controls their life.

(along with lots of other stuff too)Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?Vibrations, pitch, harmony, and chords are the basic building blocks of the universe, according to string theory. So yes, it certainly can.

EDIT: Also, the negative effects of music are not the music itself, but the lifestyle and culture of the person making and their infuence on listiners.Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?Yes. Art therapy is a well known method to treat psychological and emotinoal traumas, and music is a mood-setter used by all of us regularly.

Potentially it could be negative, but as participation is always voluntary and selectable, it would far more commonly be positive.Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?I've never thought of this before, but it's a great question.

I would say that art and music usually influence people positively.

Things that some people call %26quot;art%26quot; like pornography can cause detrimental effects though.Do you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?i think it certainly can, music and other art can be uplifting, inspiring even. or it can have a negative effect i mean look what happened to van goghDo you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?very much so. it affects peoples moods, the way they view themselves, others, LIFE. all of the famous artists in history have had breakdowns and built themselves back up because of what they do. go to the met in new york and look at a monet and tell me you don't feel inspired to live. you just can't... IMO, art history grad school degreeDo you believe that art and music can have a positive, life changing effect on people?Well it probobly has a mostly positive effect on people. It would have negative effects if the subject matter reminds someone of a tragedy. Like a painting of an old man reminds you of your dead father. Or some song lyrics remind you of your cancerous wife.

It could also have a negative effect if the music was physically painful to listen to (there's a series of pitches, that when played up and down in opposition to another pitch often makes people feel physically ill). But then you get into the philosophical realm of %26quot;what is music?%26quot;

Also if art is obstructive in any way. Like someone decided that blocking all exits of an apartment building with marble statues of gestapo police. That would have a negative effect on people.
