What is a bigger "life changing" experience? LSD or DMT? What is different about you mentally?

Both drugs are known to be life changing in the way how they reveal the world to you, but I am curious as to which of the two are the most changing based on your experiences with both drugs. How do you view the world now? What do you think of everything? How have you changed? What is a bigger %26quot;life changing%26quot; experience? LSD or DMT? What is different about you mentally?I don't take drugs, but as a foster care case manager, I think the most life changing drug is the one that ends up with a person being arrested and their children being brought into foster care. Nothing changes a person's life like having their children taken away because the parent was stupid.

:-)What is a bigger %26quot;life changing%26quot; experience? LSD or DMT? What is different about you mentally?DMT is a much bigger life changer. DMT will take you right out of this world/universe and put you in a whole new place that you didnt even know existed, and your mind doesnt even know what to think because it just seems so unreal, but yet your looking right at this entirely different universe

What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? Good or Bad ?

Was God part of your life then ? Would He have made a difference ?What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? Good or Bad ?Wow! I have so many of them.

    1948 I lost my grandfather.

1951 I found out that my father didn't want me. I found the adoption papers he had signed giving all his legal rights as a parent to my grandmother.

1963 I was divorced from an abusive and alcoholic husband. I had my precious daughter. The one good thing that came from this marriage. I also found out that I had an incurable kidney disease and the pain began after giving birth.

1968 I lost both my father and mother within 10 months of each other.

1972 I was divorced from a womanizing husband who gave me things I didn't want ... an STD.

    1973 I lost my grandmother.

1974 I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. When I look back from the point of salvation I can see where all the heartache and pain was guiding me to Him. I must have been very stubborn because it took a very long time for me to realize how much I needed Him in a personal way. I thought I knew Him all along but Catholics really don't. They have head knowledge but not heart knowledge.

1985 I married a non-believer and paid the price until he trusted the Lord himself.

1998 I went into renal failure and for the next 8 years it was a touch and go situation .... so much pain, weakness, and utter helplessness.

2006 My husband was able to donate a kidney for me. I truly believe that God brought him into my life for this purpose. Thank you Lord. The transplant has been successful and I praise God daily for His love, grace, and mercy.

Were they good or bad? It was all good because all of it brought me to the Lord and I've been in His care since. What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? Good or Bad ?What an amazing testimony! And how appropriate to remind us that everything works out to the good for those who love and obey God.

I was still a believer at that point. It made no difference. What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? Good or Bad ?oh its when I was sinking down into self-destructive habits and Jesus Christ came just when I was about to commit suicide. I am happy, if it werent for Jesus Christ i wouldnt be answering these questions. ThanksWhat was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? That is why she is my Best Friend! :)What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? Good or Bad ?1966 and it was all good! Prior to this I had been wandering in a spiritual wilderness because I had given up on religion. Fortunately, God had not given up on me and 1966 was the year when the Holy Spirit brought me to a place of repentance and forgiveness and I met up with the risen Christ Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. 1966 was the year when I was baptised, in public and by full water immersion, in obedience to the instruction to repent and be baptised. 1966 was the year when I gave myself to God and He made a H-U-G-E difference to my life, and for good! What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? Good or Bad ?I have 2 life changing moments. . In 2004 (Sept.28), my old flame who I dated when I was 17-19 called me out of the blue on a night when I was really lonely and depressed, I always loved him and he has helped me get my life on track, through the good times and the bad, and we've been together ever since. :)

And exactly 4 years later, on Sept.28, I gave my heart to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I think He brought me and my ex back together for a reason, and things have been getting better every day since I turned my life over to Him! :) I can't wait to see what the future holds..What was the most life changing year of your life and what happen ? You don't.

Your child is an adult.Although it is VERY hard to not have control, you have to let them make their own mistakes and only hope that they learn from them.If they don't, that is her problem. Not yours.

You can always present facts and help, but that is as much as you can do.Obviously ignorance is overriding her brain right now.Hopefully she will wake up and realize her mistakes before its too late.

Perhaps write her a heartfelt letter about how you are worried and you just want to see her succeed in life.

What ever you do, don't lecture. That will only make her ignore every intelligent advice someone can give.

When you leave all hope, you get a new strength to start anew if ever...

Have you ever done something life changing because of a movie?

Have you ever done or seriously considered doing something life changing because of a movie?

    eg.

Starting a fight club after watching 'Fight Club'

Quitting your job and sticking it right up your boss after watching 'Wanted'

Enlisting in the army after watching some army movie.

Have you ever done something life changing because of a movie?I watched Amadeus on video in 1986, and it inspired me to buy my first piano and learn to play. 22 years later it is a lifelong joy.

About that same time I watched Never Cry Wolf on video, and I was taken with the extraordinary scene of the protagonist alone in the midsummer arctic, napping naked in the tundra, not another human within 200 miles. Suddenly he is awakened by a thundering herd of migrating elk, and he runs for his life.

Within a year I had bought a camper shell for my truck, and I drove from Southern California to the Canadian arctic in midsummer and found the most peaceful, unspoiled vast expanse of nature you can imagine. A place where you may come across 1 or 2 people in a day, and some days not at all. And when you do meet someone out on the tundra or on the Dempster Highway, there is a high regard for one another because coming upon another person is special, it's not ordinary. I think it's how people are meant to be. It has left a lasting impression on me.Have you ever done something life changing because of a movie?i dropped out of school after watching big fishHave you ever done something life changing because of a movie?I have done that with TV shows. For a long, long time when I was younger, I wanted to be a lawyer because of the show %26quot;The Practice%26quot;. Really considered it. Figured out what I would need to do and everything.

Then, thank god, I realized it wasn't for me.Have you ever done something life changing because of a movie?no, im not an impressionable idiot.

Im sure, unfortunately, that someone out there has colored their skin green and gone around waving a sword claiming to be yoda. But thats not me.

How have you overcome negative thinking when you or someone you love faced life-changing illness or injury?

We're compiling a book of daily motivational readings (~150 words each) for people dealing with serious illness. We want to tap the wisdom of those who have been there and found ways to live life fully, whatever their health circumstances. We are looking for stories and tips from patients and/or their family members. How have you overcome negative thinking when you or someone you love faced life-changing illness or injury?i have a serious genetic disorder and someone form my family has recently diagnosed with cancer. i think people just adapt to their situation in time, mostly because they have to, and they don't have any other choice.

and in time you just see that life goes on and you have to catch up somehow.

you see that %26quot;you are alive if you are alive%26quot; and there is nothing more to it.

you learn how to cope with it slowly, step by step. yet you never completely learn that.

and it is sometimes helpful to think there is always someone in the world whose condition is a lot worse. and you should be happy that you are in a better shape from lots of people probably...How have you overcome negative thinking when you or someone you love faced life-changing illness or injury?I'm not too sure how this will go for motivational readings. To be honest, raising a special needs child is rarely sunshine and light. I'm sure it's going to be longer than 150 words, feel free to pick and choose. :-P

My oldest daughter is 10 and has Aicardi Syndrome. It's basically a brain malformation/seizure disorder with varying levels of mental retardation. It only affects girls, and you have a better chance of being struck by lightning than having a child with this disorder. She's tall for her age, coming up to my collarbones if she stood up, which she doesn't because she's completely physically and mentally disabled. She's essentially a 4 month old infant in a 10 year old body. She weighs 65 lbs and is pretty awkward to try to pick up.

There are negative things you have to deal with with having a child with special needs:

It's difficult to watch your child struggle through seizures that make her stop breathing, or make her hit her arms, legs or head on objects because she has no control over her body during the seizure.

It's heart breaking to go into her room in the morning to find that her feeding tube button leaked overnight and her back is covered in acid burns from her stomach acid seeping underneath her.

It's frustrating going out in public pushing her in her wheelchair with one hand while tugging a grocery cart with the other while your other 2 other small children hold on and have people gawk at you like you're an exhibition at the zoo, and then having to explain to your children why people are staring.

It's aggravating having FAMILY members tell you that you should be sterilized so you %26quot;don't have any more children like her%26quot;, or telling you that it's ok to give her up for adoption if you can't handle it, everyone will understand.

That's the negative. Now onto the positive. Let me tell you something about having a special needs child. Some of this may sound almost offensive, just warning you.

    1. She stays where I put her! I don't have to worry about leaving her in a room by herself to go to the bathroom and coming back to find peanut butter smeared all over the coffee table or milk decorating the television.

    2. I can dress her in whatever I want and she can't complain about how it's out of style.

    3. I can kiss her and hug her in public and she'll never be embarrassed or push me away.

    4. I can talk to her and tell her everything I feel when I'm frustrated with life in general and she always listens and offers me a wet kiss and a smile when I need it. I don't have to worry about her not understanding or giving me unhelpful or unwanted advice.

    5. Being as I am LDS, I believe in an afterlife. I believe that she will never be corrupted, soiled or worn down by the horrible things that happen in this world. Her soul has been and will remain pure until the day she dies. She has a free ticket straight to God's side with no bypass through the judgement seat. I also believe we choose who we want as our family before we come to this earth (i.e. pre-existence). I believe that she picked me to be her mother. She picked ME! She knew I would care for her with everything I am. How much more of a confidence booster can there be?

Why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes?

i don't know if i believe it or not but i think its kinda interesting that out of all the types of drugs on the planet only hallucinogens are said to be able to help you learn about yourself, help you become a better person or other personal things along those lines.

so i was just wondering why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes? whether its true or not why hallucinogens? Why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes? The answer probably has more to do with the destructive effects of other drugs compared to the effects of hallucinogens. When you look at the effects of meth, cocaine, alcohol or heroin hallucinogens seem relatively tame.

Relatively is right. The drugs known as psychedelics are certainly capable of profound changes in a person's perspectives, and LSD was once used as a psychotherapeutic drug. The ability to break existing perspectives is like having a transporter machine with no way to control the destination. Hallucinogens are sometimes referred to as psychotomimetics, which describes the similarities of the experience to psychosis. Why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes?because you learn a lot

He discovers just two minutes after hanging up, his friend took his own life. This could change the character as he becomes paranoid that someone will discover what he did and call him a murderer and he will forever ask himself what if.

this character panics so much in his final high school exams that he doubts his chances of entering university so he cheats and passes comfortably and he is accepted into the university he wanted to study at. However, the smartest pupil in his class shockingly fails by a few marks and ends up having to work harder than ever to gain a place in a university. This fills him up with so much guilt that he cannot truly celebrate his success and he faces a dilemma where he could risk his future by owning up.

I feel like it's reaching into every aspect of my life from cutting groceries, to not eating out to not entertaining or having people over very often anymore. On top of it not going anywhere so we don't waste the precious resource in our gas tank. This is insane. We're actually considering leaving so cal, which I never thought we would do =(

What's your story? How is the current economy affecting you?How is your life changing as a result of outrageous gas prices?Oracle, your situation's like mine. Gas prices are at $4.00 from where we're at.. we're talking about 89!!

Have you ever had a life changing experience?

Was it positive or negative? You can go into detail if you want. I just wanted to see how many people actually have had a life changing experience.Have you ever had a life changing experience?Yes and I've talked about this before but it really did change my life. My daughter's father was killed in a car accident when I was 7 months pregnant. I was young and didn't realize that could ever happen. At that time I took him for granted. I treated him horribly the weekend before he died. I never got the chance to say sorry and tell the truth about a horrible lie I had told him. I had no family, my best friend walked out of my life (another story) so he was all I had. Losing someone like that is so hard, you can't explain it, only experience it. I really changed because of this because for one thing, I felt it was my fault. I stopped playing games with people's heads and their hearts. I hope one day I can find another like him.Have you ever had a life changing experience?Yup. My dad died this year. It was both positive and negative-negative for the obvious reasons, and although it seems to early to see the positive, I know I've been made stronger because of it.Have you ever had a life changing experience? If you mean an appifany than im not sure...Have you ever had a life changing experience?Yes i have had a bunch

So you are right, it really could be anything.

Have him choose to walk left instead of right. What are some life changing decisions?Wait, first of all what are you writing abt? Teenage Drama? The Dark side of Fashion, Fame, Sex and Drugs? The depressed millionaire? Cinderella? Tom and Jerry revamped??

It would help if you let us (and yourself) know what is the intention of creating ur character in the first place. Clich茅d 'life changing' decisions will not give depth or essence to your character. So think about. So first define your protagonist's character (Tall, Silent, likes coffee with smoke - Red Marlboro only, loner, etc) and next the intention of your character (Rags to riches, Riches to rags, soul searching, soul mate searching etc). Next make yourself the character, think like him in his character u defined above in the reality of your intentions you defined above.

Next: situations - sit alone and define the scenario -eg: roadside cafe, evening, cool breeze, depressed - then let your mind drift in these and build around these and include more if appropriate.

All these should be knit with a clear understanding as to what you want to tell/show/reveal to your readers. Let your mind drift. And dont worry too much about details. Get a rough story first. Then the hallmark incident(s) in that story. It should be like a well edited movie - the mood, the continuity, the sentiment, relevance, importance... n never miss an opportunity to improvise...

    Hope this helps.

    All the best!

What was your 1st LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE in your life? When I was 4 years old my parents divorced. It had both positive and negative affects on me. On one hand it made my mother mistrust men, but it also made her transform from a house frau into a competent career woman and since my mother was my biggest role model this inturn changed who I would become. Financially, the family that my father raised had it much easier than our family but the children that he supported are not self sufficient and my brothers and I are. What was your 1st LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE in your life? This wasn't my first life-changing experience, but it was a life changing experience no less.

It was the last day of grade 9. I was really shy around girls. A group of girls came up to me and my pals and asked us if we wanted to go to their house. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited and nervous. I really wanted to make an impression on them, so we spent the afternoon and night laughing and yelling and having fun. It was probably one of the best days of my entire life so far (I'm 20 now and the last 5 years have been pretty negative, with good times being few and far between.) If I can re-kindle that old happiness to make it a big part of my life, I will be very happy.

Good question! What was your 1st LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE in your life?my first life changing experience was in 1999 when i was 8 when i had such a strong sieger that it land it me in the hospital for three days. i did not know what hit me even at that age, i did not know where was i and who was around me.What was your 1st LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE in your life?MY first life changing experience without a doubt was when i moved to a different town starting third grade. then we moved again 5th grade. and this year im in tenth grade and we're are moving again....which is partly my fault because i whined about the school i was at and begged to leave....but it was so negative for me. especially becuase once i got to my third school my friends all started moving. the two closet friendsd i had moved in fifth grade. and last year alone 5 friends moved or got homeschooled (for petes sake my military friend moved to puerto rico and another friend moved to the other side of the state)

soo, when my friendswho have been in one area all my life complain about not liking where they live, im like shut ur face u still see the friends u had 5 years ago everyday i dont.

so i was just wondering why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes? whether its true or not why hallucinogens? Why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes? The answer requires that you have taken hallucinogens. I've noticed that they take away biases and preconceived notions. We are born and raised without even knowing the jaded view that comes with cultural evolution. You re-evaluate your life. You take things with an entire saltshaker This can be very dangerous though. You can have epiphanies that your life is worthless, rather life itself is pointless. It can honestly change your life so much that you cant go back to living the same way. It can also bring about revelations as your mind makes connections that it normally doesnt (or shouldnt). I know the last time i took a hallucinogen i was speaking with my friend and came to the revelation that i dont need to take hallucinogens, what i wanted was a state of mind and i could get that without them. Its all in your brain and hallucinogens will often intensify moods or thoughts (Ivfe been stuck lying on a bed for hours contemplating the same thing going in a circle).

Be careful and most importantly dont forget to tell yourself that this is just the drug and everything will go back to normal afterwards and hopefully it does but you know have some knew knowledge or yourself and the world. Why are hallucinogens usually the only type of drug credited with having positive life changing attributes?because the other ones are purely for the physical buzz/sensation. you aren't going to gain any insight into yourself by injecting smack.

I would be srue to push myself harder overall. If you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?I would not change a thing. And if i could go back to high school and change something i would i would change how i acted i screwd around way to much and ended up with no credits so i would change that. But very intersting question. If you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?I have often thought I would like to go back anchange things. But now.. 20 years out of high school I have come to realize today is the day to make life changing decisions. Don't worry about the past. Look to the future and learn from the past.If you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?You are right, life is what you make of it, no matter your choices or how much money you have.If you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?I just wrote about this very thing. I am now 46 years old. and my life has not been the most glamorous. If I would of not partied so much, and chose to stay clean instead of using drugs. or even the first hit of marijuana, I know my life would of been much better off. the consequences would not of came, the felonies would never of been. and in prison I would of never had to be.

but my choice to get high, led me to this terrible end. Now I face life with the record of my past. and making it hard for me to get a job. or become financially stable.

2 more years and I can get it all expunged.

but the life it gave me, was pure hell.

Would life be better/worse/the same? That I cannot know.

Life is always what you make it. There is an element of luck, though I do believe that in may instances we make our own luckIf you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?I would only the change the fact that i didn't finish college.

And the fact is when the 2 year old starts kindergarten

i want to go back to work. It takes 1 awesome paying job, or 2 medium paying jobs to make it today!!!

But i only have a high school diploma!

So what type of jobs can i get that pay really good?

    Not many!!!

If i had finished college first then i could get the good paying job right away, instead of having to now go back %26amp; finish!

    That's my only regret!!!!

And it's the only thing i would change!!!If you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?Yep...I would have studied Law!... And become a lawyer/solicitor/legal advisor?... its well paid!...whether you win or lose?...If you had a chance to go back in high school when you made a life changing decision and change it, would you?You are either very deep or are writing a book. My thought is this - most people would not go back and change something especially in high school / most me including do not remember that much about it in a way that would have been detrimental and life changing.

Yes, I agree that life is what you make of it. There are several ingredients such as attitude, openess and non-judgemental behavior. Treat people how you want to be treated. We all want happiness, success, good health, happy families., I truly believe that the people who are unhappy are the slackers; they don't set goals, envy people who do and therefore blame everyone for the way their life turned out.

So, be positive, reach for greatness and yhou will be great, don't let anyone tear down your dreams and aspirations (if they do, they are not your friend....dump them. You need the wisdom to know who means you well and who does not.

I would write about being rescued from suicide by encountering the real love of God through Jesus Christ

The last choice is harder, because my marriage was life changing, my children's births were life changing and I have had to go through a process of healing in my mid-life to finally heal from the abuse of my childhood.

If I were going to write a book I guess I would pick the healing process I've been going through for the third major life changing event.

This would be a true, autobiographical book. It would have very dark elements to it but I would like to bring out the love of God that rescued me when all human love was denied me.

What would you consider a life-changing moment?

I have to write a narrative essay on a life-changing moment, but I can't think of any thing that important. My writing teacher always says its ok to lie, as long as we make it good.

Any ideas would be appreciated! What would you consider a life-changing moment? There are many things that could be life-changing, it really depends on the person. A near death experience could certainly do it for most people. I read a story last night about a woman who survived a plane crash and went on to completely change her life. That experience made her reorder her priorities and to realize that life is too short not to make the most of what is important to the individual.

Others could be the divorce of parent's, death of a parent, one's own divorce, and so on. A life-changing experience could be less dramatic. My daughter spent several weeks last summer in Belize, working in medical clinics. She came back with a new outlook on her own life.

I hope this gives you some ideas. What would you consider a life-changing moment?um like

    -someone's baby born

    -getting rid of ur cancer

    -getting dog

    -when sibbiling was born

-getting good grade on her test (ha suck up)

    -in a sport

-..What would you consider a life-changing moment? The deaths of my parents (Dad in 1994, Mom in 2006)What would you consider a life-changing moment?Death of a loved one, divorce, moving, birth of a child, graduation, being found not guilty, having your life saved, marriage, etc. What would you consider a life-changing moment?marriage, divorce, death, loss of job or a loved one even a pet. What would you consider a life-changing moment?your teacher is not offering very good advise. it is best to tell the truth and embelish on it a little than to flat out lie. think back to an instant when something or someone made a big diffrance in your life. or the loss of a loved one family friend or pet and write about that and add pepper if you must it just makes it spicyerWhat would you consider a life-changing moment?-the moment you met 'the one'

    -an invasion

-the day you realised you were living a lie... think stuff we get paranoid about.

-the day you found out by accident that you were adopted? What would you consider a life-changing moment? The best moment of anybodies life is the birth of their first child. (in my case, due to military service...it was the birth of my second child) I will never forget the sound of my sons first cry nor the ride at two moths old behind the ambulance when he was found to have pneumonia.

If you are a male, another life moment is the second you lay your eyes on your approaching bride. What would you consider a life-changing moment? All the above answers are great suggestions.

I would include the changing of your world view. For example, if you no longer believe in god but you once did (or vice versa). If you felt there were no real right and wrong actions in life but now you have a strong grounding in ethics (or vice versa). If you once were very optimistic in life but now are very pessimistic (or vice versa).

How is The Catcher in the Rye an influential and life changing book?

I need to write a page long response on a book that has had the most influence on my life and why.

Im not sure what to do, but The Catcher in the Rye is my favorite book and it did actuallly have a big impact on me and i really understood it. But i dont know how exactly to write how it has influenced my life.

So how is it influential and life changing? (perhaps in your opinion)

PLEASE HELPPPP :DHow is The Catcher in the Rye an influential and life changing book?Basically, Holden is at that awkward age and he is blaming everyone else. In my opinion, Holden and The Catcher in the Rye are about accepting change and responsibility. The book has influenced me by making me accept change and put up with it instead of being immature like Holden was. Holden calls everyone %26quot;phonies%26quot; and just runs away from his problems. Seeing him be so immature (as many teens are) reminds me that I must not do as he did. Don't run away from your problems, confront them. You cannot run away from your problems forever, they will come back and be an issue sooner or later, so deal with them in the present to get ahead.

Being just a teenager myself, I am at that awkward age and have learned those things that I hope to apply to my life. %26lt;3 I hope this helps : )How is The Catcher in the Rye an influential and life changing book?I've heard that's a really good book... I should read that sometime...

Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?

Commonly, life changing events are listed as marriage, divorce, and birth of a child, ect. If a person doesn't have insurance and learns that they are pregnant, will most companies allow enrollment at that time even if enrollment is scheduled at a specific time of the year?Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?No. If you are not already enrolled in your company's health insurance plan, you will have to wait until the next open enrollment. Becoming pregnant doesn't qualify.

Birth of a child would qualify - if you were already enrolled on the plan, and then wanted to add the newborn before the next open enrollment period. But not just becoming pregnant. In fact, if you're not already on the plan, you probably won't be able to add the baby when he/she is born either. Both of you will have to wait until open enrollment.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?With some insurance companies it is considered a sickness. That's how I was covered. JenniferDoes becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?The short answer is yes, most employers will allow you to add a new child to an insurance policy once the child has arrived. The pregnancy will be covered for the mother There generally is a time line for adding the child once the birth has occurred.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?Becoming pregnant is not considered to be a qualifying event. The birth of the child is a qualifying event for both the mother and the newborn. If the person who is pregnant has not experienced an involuntary loss of coverage, this person will have to wait until open enrollment or the birth of the child.

Pregnancy cannot be considered a pre-existing condition under HIPAA for a group health insurance plan.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?No, your employer (and consequently their insurance) does not consider pregnancy an event that would allow you to enroll prior to open enrollment. In addition, you would usually only have a 30 day period after birth in which to enroll your baby but that would only be allowed if you were already on the insurance. Therefore, you will need to wait until open enrollment and get the insurance. Then, enroll your baby (if it's already been born) or enroll it during the acceptable time frame after birth.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?No, you would not be allowed to enroll until after the birth of the baby. The pregnancy would be considered a pre existing condition and would NOT be covered even if you could enroll.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?No. Becoming pregnant is not considered a qualifying event. The birth of your child will be a qualifying event, and you may elect coverage on the date of birth (for your entire family, not just the infant), but nothing related to your pregnancy will be covered. All of baby's bills will be, however.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?It will really depend on what insurance the employer has. Some companies will allow you to make changes upon becoming pregnant, while others won't let you make any changes until you either have the child or the next open enrollment period.

Your best bet is to talk to someone in the HR department to find out how their policy is set up. Or if you have any paperwork about the insurance you could look through it to see what their policies are. Good luck!Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?Most companies would not allow you to enroll upon becoming pregnant. You'll have to wait until the next enrollment period to sign yourself up.

However, if you have the child before the next enrollment period, that does constitute a change in life status and you should be able to enroll you/the child then. All of your expenses prior to enrolling, though, likely won't be covered.Does becoming pregnant qualify as a life changing event for most insurance companies/employers?No, it won't qualify, although I am surprised that your employer would allow you to waive the health insurance in the first place.

The reason why marriage is considered a life changing event is that it would allow you to enroll your spouse (but it wouldn't allow you to enroll yourself if you had already waived coverage). Divorce is a life changing event because you might have waived coverage because you were covered under your spouse's health insurance but since the divorce, you are no longer covered. Birth of a child is considered a life changing event because it would allow you to enroll your child (this is assuming that you were already enrolled).

Check your employer's policies about the insurance, but, I don't believe becoming pregnant (or even giving birth to the child) would be considered a life changing event to allow the mother to enroll in a health insurance plan that she waived at the time of open enrollment.

I think that our perception change our life, snd our perception is changed by something.

So something in life indirectly but somehow directly change our life.

Ex) Because I met a person, I thought that close relationship is important.

The person cause him to change his perception via experience have ahd with each other and changed perception.

The idea that knowing the importance of relationsip is due to the change of perception.
