I am not dissatisfied with myself. I AM however dissatisfied with people. I read self help books, but only to give me insight on why other people are such pieces of crap BEFORE they try to be good.
Tell me, what potential does life hold? You can do all you can to become the most amazing at whatever you know how to do, and you are still going to die and you have no clue (most of the time) when this will happen... And before you die, your body will go to crap...
I have learned that knowing yourself and what you want makes ZERO difference in the end. There are way more people out there who don't have a clue on either of those counts. (Believe me I know a bunch...) These unaware (of self) people make it through just fine! Most of them have families and people who love them good or bad. But I get home and I wonder if I will ever get these opportunities presented to me again. I think the problem is that people believe something great and life changing happens later on by it's own, and all we do is wait patiently. It doesn't affect her nearly as much as does me as she's more of an empty hole that I fill with what I will. S*it in, s*it out. I am sick of all the self help books, they are printed for a reason! to help people with no hope! dont buy them! Help yourself! write a book yourself!
dig your butt out of the dismal pit you are in and kick some ***! Four years ago I was unemployed and almost broke, well way broke! somehow I got out of it, I had to kick ***, but somehow I did it.

Self-help books do have some good pointers...but its entirely upto you to interpret them right and make efforts to walk the talk. Your life would definitely change...for better or worse!

Notice butterflies. That's always fun. Too often we regard butterflies as nothing more than pretty moths, but there is something magical in the flight of a butterfly. Spend some time watching one. And then watch the sunset. There's also magic in that as well.
