How does a life changing even affect a persons personality?

say losing a loved one specifically someone you thought loved you only to find out not only was it wrong to love that person but that person don't love you. Sort of like realizing your whole life was a lie..? this happened to my best friend and she seems so much hyper now and boom her grades have improved?!?!? she used to be laid back and stuff with not so good grades...How does a life changing even affect a persons personality? So many people avail such turning point in their life. Whenever such opportunity comes, they utilize that event then and there. How does a life changing even affect a persons personality?know more about your life! How does a life changing even affect a persons personality?Maybe she hated her love life. How does a life changing even affect a persons personality? When people get hurt by something like that, it can easily affect them because when you love someone (I mean REALLY love someone, not just throwing the word randomly) you put your entire trust in them and give them everything about you, and then when they take it, spit on it, and throw it in the garbage, it's really one of the most devastating feelings anybody can go through. Of course, it isn't easy to get over it, but with time, wounds will heal.

I guess why the personality changes is that the person who got hurt will want to get away from the lifestyle they had before because it might potentially remind them of the person who hurt them, or anything that lead to it and whatnot, so they try to change it by distracting themselves with anything or trying new things to feel like they're accomplishing something. It gives a sense of relief knowing you're doing something right and good, especially after going through something like that. How does a life changing even affect a persons personality?Sure it's possible.

It sounds to me your female friend dealt with her loss very well, as she should be. I mean no point wasting time over spilt milk.

It all depends on how the affected individual takes the life changing experience. Whether for better or worse.
