As a Christian (Catholic) I have always cared about others around me and what could happen.
While my mum and I were on a Tran, a total stranger started talking to us. But he was really nice. He said that all his life he been mean and a bad person (not literally) But he had changed and allot of the time people say that but don't mean it, he did.
Now he is a good family friend, but kinda old. Since he had spent most of his life being a bad person, will he still be sent to hell? Or because he has changed his life he won't? Adult changing life style, still go to hell?He won't go to Hell. I don't believe in Hell. I only believe in Heaven. Bad people have to change before they go to Heaven. If someone cannot change they won't recognize them self in Heaven because only the good personal characteristics will follow you to Heaven. I think it all depends on what degree of 'bad'. In my opinion hell isn't 'hell' like it is in the movies. Surely God wouldn't send anyone to such a place (otherwise he wouldn't be all good etc). I think hell is 'nothingness'. An empty space where you feel nothing. This would be hell to me. I think hell (if it exists will be different for everyone i.e. their view of it).

Heaven and Hell are metaphors that once referred to one's state of mind. I have been in both states and I'm sure everyone probabally has. If someone is in an angry, hateful, destructive mindframe, they have literally created their own Hell. Think about it. That's why they say in Hell everything that you are afraid of and hate is torturing you, it's called the human conscience!Adult changing life style, still go to hell?Only God can know his fate. I believe the fate of most souls will be Purgatory. Heaven is for the very righteous. Hell is for those who remain obstinate in doing evil and fail to repent. If this man repented of his previous sins, God will forgive him. Nevertheless, he, like all of us will have to atone for his sins either in this life or the next.

Going to heaven or hell solely depends on if you believe that you are a sinner and that Jesus died on the cross for you as a free gift of eternal life in heaven. It is that simple.
When Jesus was dying on the cross, the guy on the cross next to him said that he believed he was the Son of God, and Jesus replied that because he believed, he will be with him in paradise. That bad guy didn't have time to be a good person, but just him believing got him to go to heaven.
Even if you are the nicest person in the world, you still wouldn't go to heaven. God says %26quot;for all have fallen short of the Glory of God%26quot; that is why He made it so easy that all we need to do is believe.Adult changing life style, still go to hell?well for one , a person is not saved by good works , it does not matter that if his entire life was almost perfect , almost perfect without looking to Christ as the lamb of God who died for all sins , and is the only way into heaven (the kingdom of God ) We all have to have faith in Christ for forgiveness of sin . So if he looks to Christ , He will be forgiven just like the thief on the Cross who , wasted his entire life ,but looked to Christ , as the son of God , and who was forgiven and stepped into paradise as soon as he dies .
Then once a person looks to Christ as our redemption , and not our good works to do it , then a person is to live right , not that that saves them but in appreciation of God and by the help of the holy spirit , now that they have received Christ by faith , and has been given the holy spirit , and born again . Absolutely not!
First of all, who is a %26quot;bad person%26quot;?
Second, Christendom is full of people who have lived %26quot;badly%26quot; for much of their lives, only to repent and turn to Christ relatively late in life. Some of these people are even canonized saints.
Case in point: St. Paul, who spent most of his adult life persecuting and executing Christians before becoming one of Christianity's greatest saints.

God is no respector of persons. We all have a criminal record (sin record) before God. Sin is biblically called %26quot;lawlessness.%26quot; Hell is not escaped by performance. It is only escaped by availing oneself of the provision made by Jesus Christ to meet the inescapable demands of justice for our criminal records. Has this man become born again?
