That really changed my view on love...Could anyone recommend any life changing books?Here's a series that can make any woman feel empowered with a sense of adventure and satisfaction.....It's a series that began years ago and she just keeps popping them out,,,one of her books, the first actually, was made into a movie starring Daryl Hannah....The first book and movie are called %26quot; THE CLAN OF THE CAVE BEAR %26quot;.....It's a story about how a young orphaned girl who lost every thing overcame her situation. She broke the barriers of prejudice where ever she went. She was a survivor. a healer/medicine woman, a world traveler, ect. The story and person are fictional , but the history of our people in these ancient times is true. The amount of research on the cultures of early man that was done in order to write this book is astounding.....I was so amazed over the years of the books that followed....each one better then the last.....I saw the movie first then picked up the book version. I'm glad I did it had so much more details and events that the movie couldn't possible touch base on ( time wise). But, since I watched the movie with all it's memorable characters it made it so much nicer all ready knowing what each person looked like.....as I read the later books in the series I wished they would come up with a part 2 to the movie....That's how much it grabbed me......So, my advicce is to watch the movie first then read all the books...(.Jean M.Auel ) is the author ......Could anyone recommend any life changing books?Chuck Palahniuk is definitely life-changing, but not girly in the slightest.Could anyone recommend any life changing books?Hi Feel the fear and do it anyway, is a good motivational book.
