How do you change your life by changing the way you think?

I am not a mover. I want to be a mover but it never really works out. I intend to do things but it never happens. I'm always late and running behind, I'm over weight and totally dissatified with my current existence. My life choices also have a negative affect on the people around me; my children, my husband, my employer. I can't go on like this at the same time I can't really seem to change.How do you change your life by changing the way you think?Start with something simple ...

Look in the mirror every day-15 times a day- and say outloud, %26quot;I'm a mover%26quot; when that inner voice pop's up saying , %26quot;But you failed and didn't get the trash out%26quot; ... squash this thought with, %26quot;I cooked diner ... I'm a mover%26quot;. Incorporation religious beliefs into these thoughts also help ... %26quot;I'm a mover thank you Jesus ...%26quot; what ever your level of comfort is ... if religion boggs you down then just focus on being a mover ... if religion lifts you up, then by all means incorporate it!!!



Then once you've mastered this, make a new short saying and keep improving your life ... like my husband is the greatest ... soon he'll see that you're treating him great and that will change him to act greater!!! Honest to God ... repeatative stuff makes us go in that direction ... problem is your focused on going in a bad direction.

Work on one problem at a time. Pick the easiest one first. Once that one is in work then pick the next one and so on. If you look at all the problems at once it is too much for you to deal with. You do have helpers in this life. You have guides and angels to help you. They are not allowed to help unless you ask. Don't feel alone because you are not. You have to truly be willing to change. No be afraid of change. My partner isn't the most optimistic person. And change comes slow for her. But I have been having her try with just little things. I will........ today. over and over until she does. Little steps. Now she is in a place where she can make bigger steps. She is also afraid of change. But with some one to guild you and your own spirit of will to change it is possible.How do you change your life by changing the way you think?you're in a trap of the mind created by the mind and able to be ammended by the mind. there are thousands of self help books and such for people in a situation similar to yours. the basic fact is that transformation is possible. choosing some form of discipline that you can stick with and practicing it everyday is very important. you are disempowered, you have become accustomed to failure. this cycle will continue until you break it. i suggest you become clear about what you desire for yourself - very clear. you might have problems concentrating, or with attention span. these qualities are developed with practice. they respond very well. once you start to know what it is you desire that is different than the way things are now, spend time concentrating upon it, and willing it. its difficult to explain the will. IT IS. once you will something with unbending intent, you will start to see it happening. it will happen in unexpected ways. coincedences will start to happen. you might not understand it, but keep on willing, even if you can't figure out the %26quot;how?%26quot;. sometimes you can't reason from the known to the unknown. it takes time, but the pace picks up, i promise you, as long as you continue to will, to aspire to love and harmony, and you embrace life.

remember your death. you will die. how would you like to feel on your dying day? its not morbid - its a remedy for %26quot;i'll start tomorrow%26quot;.

contemplate joy. usually when people are overweight or addicted to drugs or something else of that sort, its because they are substituting secondary joys like eating for meaningful joy. you have from now until the end of your life to cultivate the capacity for joy that comes from creating, loving, being. i have found that creating gives me great joy. do you like to create anything, or did you before you got depressed? its not a matter of %26quot;i'm not good at that%26quot;. what would give you meaningful joy now? without joy, which must be created, there is no real incentive to even get out of bed in the morning. does your husband support your desire to change? is he dynamic himself? you are not in a mariage alone.

the mind has the capacity to change the outer life by changing itself. THE MIND IS A CREATURE OF HABIT. its your mind and the repetitive negative affirmations that perpetuate your current painful cycle. there are many disciplines that focus on mind training. you must control your own mind or it will control you - just based on habits. develop a rich inner life. start to record your dreams and do dreaming exercises - look them up. it is what is above the mind - the spiritual self that is able to impress new forms upon the mind.

you can change. get in touch with your inner self, your feelings, your power. we all have it, but some are afraid or don't know how to use it. find inspiration. explore the many religious teachings that seek to guide people out of darkness. keep asking questions here. fuel your desire constantly. you'll surely make it.
